How to Convert Images to PDF and Back Again
Turning a batch of photos into a single PDF is the standard move for submitting a scanned document, sending a set of receipts as one attachment, or packaging a photo set for someone who specifically asked for "a PDF" rather than a folder of loose image files. The reverse job — pulling images back out of an existing PDF — comes up when you need the individual photos from a document someone else already assembled.

- Convert, then download the combined PDF.
A PDF back into images
- Same tool, switched to the other direction: upload the PDF, and it renders each page out as a separate image file, or pulls out embedded photos directly depending on the mode you choose.
- Download the images individually or all at once as a .zip.
The one thing to know about quality
Converting a PDF's pages to images renders them at a fixed resolution rather than pulling out the original source photos at their native quality — fine for most everyday uses, but if you need the actual embedded images at their original resolution rather than a re-rendered page, check whether the tool's "extract embedded images" mode (rather than "render pages") is the better fit for what you need.
